Not too bad, though the lack of numbers (especially in the bangers) meant a quick meeting including the dropping of one banger heat. Mailing list regular Steve Biggs (309) took the Novice of the Year heat in a twice started race, stopped after Paul Weaver (770) rolled midway across the home straight, while Kev Burton (285) sped home to victory in the remaining heat and Clive Manvers (69) - who received his Winter Series trophy earlier in the meeting - outpaced a dizzy performance by Billy King (49) in the consi. Dave Palmer (53) dumped the opposition to win the final and it seemed that Sonny Sherwood (348) had done well to get second until a quick check revealed that he had not qualified, Mark Hurrel (130) being the chief beneficiary in that one. The accumulator went to Martin Brinkworth (2) in a five car finish.

In the BriSCA F2 Stocks, Mark Taylor (790) finally cleared his final shaleway duck as he won the second heat, the first going to (771) in a heavy hitting meeting which also saw success for Mark Meeds in the consi and Allan Copeman (702) in the final, holding off Rob Johnson (824) and Daz Kitson (732) while Gary Fox (48) took the Grand National Qualifier.
