Formula: A type of car racing which
includes car type and contact type.

according to a type and contact amount defined by a local
organisation.

Promotion: Organisation that promotes
racing at a particular track.

ORC: Oval Racing Council. Nationally
organised committee governing several formulas.

BriSCA: British Stock Car Association.
Nationally organised committee governing stock car racing.

NHRPA: National Hot Rod Promoters'
Association (I think?). Nationally organised committee
governing certain Hot Rods.

Scrutineering: Pre- and post-racing
examination of a car to make sure that the car conforms to
racing specification.

Bar: Something drivers are wont to prop up
after racing. hehehe
