Arena Essex, Meeting 40 (04-Nov-2001)

It was a sunny day by the time we finally got going at Arena Essex, though early clouds and attempted showers did give us some qualms following the previous year and its atrocious conditions. However, as anyone knows that has followed the Firecracker since its first year, there is much to see before, during and after the meeting. This is my take on the day.

Included also below is the twitchers' list produced before the meeting, for anyone that wants to know about who was driving what on the day (note that there were some no-shows, so don't take this as a list of who made it, just a list of who said they were going to be here.)

Thanks to PC World Digital Photographic at Thurrock and Jessops Photographic in the Lakeside Shopping Centre for help with some of the gizmos I had to grab in a hurry to make some of this possible.
